Petra-Jordan is an amazing place called «Rose City» because of the color of the stone on which it is carved. To see a historical and archaeological city in Jordan, this city belongs to an ancient museum with horse riding, Roman theater, rainbow tombs, and canyons.
Petra-Jordan from Sharm El Sheikh starts at 1:00 until 23:0. Drive to Taba City, 200 km to Taba Marine, and take our ferry for 1:30 hours to get to Petra City and start our program.

COLLECTION TIME

We pick up from your hotel at 1:00 am with a Mercedes 600cc AC bus; we take 3 hours to get to Nuweiba Marine.
After taking our ferry for 1:30 hours to get to Petra City and meeting very nice our guide speaker Jorden and explaining everything about the trip.

COLORFUL CANYON

We begin the tour on foot, through the canyon, a narrow and winding gorge over 1 kilometer long.
Petra’s beautiful sandstone formations were once occupied by the Edomites. One reason Petra was such an attractive site for the Nabataea is its virtual seclusion behind a narrow and easily defendable canyon known as the Siq.
VISIT TO AL KHAZNEH OR THE GREAT TREASURE OF THE PHARAOH
As you reach the end of this beautiful ravine, a very narrow opening offers a peephole into one of Petra’s most spectacular sites: the Treasury. Carved into the side of the sandstone mountain wall probably in the 1st century BC, scholars debate its actual purpose.

After the visit to the treasury, we will visit the Roman Theatre, which dates back to the Byzantine era, and the royal tombs.
Not much is known about the ancient Nabatean culture, except that they were excellent engineers with astonishing skills and abilities.
They built water conservation and irrigation systems and carved their homes, temples, and tombs right into the rock.

LUNCH

Lunch at a restaurant in the city center.

RETURN TO SHARM EL SHEIKH

We will return to Aqaba at 6:45 pm, where you will have an hour of free time for shopping.
Then take your boat back to Nuweiba Marine, then return to Sharm El Sheikh by bus, which arrives after midnight, and you will be transferred to your hotel.
